Description We are looking for an experienced AR/Billing Specialist to join our team in Anaheim, California. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in accounts receivable and billing within the construction and subcontracting industry. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong ability to manage billing processes, compliance requirements, and client collections. Responsibilities: - Prepare and submit accurate billings, including progress billings and change orders, in compliance with organizational and industry standards. - Manage preliminary notices, lien releases, and retention/final billing to ensure timely processing. - Process billing transactions through contractor portals such as GC Pay, maintaining accuracy and efficiency. - Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve billing discrepancies promptly. - Ensure compliance with subcontract and contract requirements while maintaining detailed records. - Utilize Deltek systems for billing, tracking, and reporting to streamline workflows. - Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial documentation and support auditing processes. - Provide proactive communication with clients to address billing inquiries and maintain positive relationships. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable and billing experience within the construction or subcontracting industry. - Proficiency in managing lien releases, retention payments, and final billings. - Familiarity with Deltek systems and GC Pay portals is preferred. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client and team interactions. - Ability to reconcile discrepancies and ensure compliance with contract requirements. - Knowledge of AIA billing and construction-related financial processes. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
