House One - Anyigbe
House One (Anyigbe) is represented by the color Red and proudly carries the motto “Winners Forever.” It is widely known for its hard work and cleanliness. Among all the houses, it is highly respected – and sometimes feared – when it comes to Inter-House quizzes, sports, games, and general hygiene. Indeed, House One sets the standard in cleanliness.
House One is led by Mr. Awusu Prosper, with support from Mad. Gifty Appiah and other staff members. The student leaders are Master Roger Kuntevi as the Prefect and Sandra Asempah as the Assistant Prefect.
The leadership of House One is deeply committed to the growth and welfare of its members. They prioritize the interests of every house member, ensuring a peaceful and united environment. This is reflected in the house’s guiding slogan: “United we stand, divided we fall.”
Members of House One are known for their dedication and excellence in every assigned task. The house has built a strong reputation over the years, outperforming others consistently.
In various competitions – be it football, volleyball, athletics, or quizzes – House One always shines.
One notable achievement was during a recent inter-house games competition, where House One emerged as the overall winner in athletics. Additionally, House One contributed the largest number of athletes to the school team for the 2016 inter-school sports and games held at Mawuli School. During that event, Sandra Asempah from House One won a gold medal in the girls’ 800-meter race.
