Dzafe House, one of the most prominent houses at Tanyigbe Senior High School in the Volta Region, has once again upheld its tradition of bringing members together for its annual get-together. Known by its proud slogan, “The Champion House”, Dzafe House boasts a membership of about 200 students from both genders.
The initiative introduced three years ago under the guidance of the House Parents, Mr. Amankwah Simon and Madam Tali Miranda, aims to unite and reconcile members before the final-year students depart after completing their WASSCE examinations.
This year’s celebration took place on August 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM with all members of the house in attendance. The event attracted notable guests, including staff members such as Mr. Kafui Elevu Abotsi, Mr. Senam Vudeka, and Mr. Baku Edem, as well as personnel from the school’s clinic.
The occasion was further graced by the presence of chiefs and elders from the Dzafe community, after which the house is named. Distinguished guests included Mr. Isaac Tawiah Gbortsu, a retired registrar; Togbega Kosi Deborah II, acting chief of Dzafe; and Ametsitsie Simon Amasu.
The event, filled with camaraderie and celebration, served as a reminder of the unity and pride that define Dzafe House, strengthening the bond among members and keeping the spirit of The Champion House alive.
